Badminton in Windsor
Windsor Phoenix B.C. is a well established and friendly club in Windsor. Windsor Phoenix is proud of its reputation as a friendly and welcoming club, whilst promoting both social and competitive badminton.
History
The club was first established in the late 1940’s and has continued to provide opportunities for badminton at all levels across Windsor, Maidenhead, Bracknell and the surrounding area for many years. The club moved to its present location, Trevelyan School, in 1969.
Affiliations
The Club is affiliated to Badminton England and Berkshire County and participates in the Windsor & Maidenhead, Bracknell & District and High Wycombe Badminton Association Leagues.
The Badminton Season
The badminton season runs from early September to the end of the following April and a summer club usually runs from May to July operating on a weekly “pay as you play” basis.

Badminton Matches and League
The club is a founder member of the Windsor and Maidenhead Badminton League, which has provided competitive club badminton in the area since 1975. We currently have three teams competing in the local leagues as follows. Results can be found by clicking on the links:
- Windsor & Maidenhead – Mens
- Bracknell District Badminton Association – Mens & Mixed teams
All members are invited to put themselves forward for team selection. A Fixture List is available for all club members.
We also submit teams to play in the annual Windsor & Maidenhead League Mixed Handicap Tournament which takes place at Windsor Leisure Centre and are the current holders of the non-handicap part of the competition.
